A higher performance solution for engine management is available from the Cosworth ECPro professional motorsport ECU. Engineered in conjunction with Pectel Control Systems for the 2008 and newer Subaru STI, the Cosworth ECPro features an OEM compatible harness connector and a full base calibration allowing you to go straight to the dyno without the workload of full ECU and vehicle configuration. Exclusively available from select Cosworth dealers.
I’m speechless.
In a partnership with VIP Garage, Slowboy Racing is moving from PA to a new 11,000 square foot facility outside Orlando, FL. Expect an early June opening.

GOTO:Racing, with extensive background in the KONI Challenge series, has taken delivery of a new GT-R for time attack use. Watch their build thread at nagtroc.com if that’s your sort of thing as much as it is ours.
If you don’t offer a showroom car that can be even remotely drifted, you shouldn’t get to play the drift game. I’m speaking of the Scion tC that Tanner Foust will pilot in the 2009 Formula Drift series. It’s been converted to RWD and given a stout NASCAR-spec V8 engine.

It’s high RPM madness. Watch in-car footage of Tom Long (MX5) and Randy Pobst (Civic Si) duking it out in the KONI Challenge Street Tuner class at Homestead: YouTube. Their averaged total MPH differed by .001 seconds and the Civic ended up winning by less than half a second.
No doubt requiring selling a kidney to purchase, Oakley Design (not that Oakley) has created the world’s first carbon fiber roll cage. It has been been TUV-approved (FIA approval in process). Congratulations to them, as this is a serious engineering feat.
